The production of “Animal” involved co-producers CINE 1 Studios Private Limited and T-Series, which faced a legal dispute prior to its release. CINE 1 Studios filed a plea in the Delhi High Court to halt the film’s release on the OTT platform until T-Series met the agreed-upon terms, which included equal ownership and right of refusal. Eventually, the two production houses settled the matter out of court, and the film was able to proceed with its release.
