Arrested: 80s Pop Star Samantha Fox’s Alleged Drunken Plane Bust-Up

LONDON (AP) — 80s pop star Samantha Fox was arrested following an alleged drunken incident on a plane, resulting in her spending a night in jail. The model and singer, 56, was on a British Airways flight to Munich when she reportedly got into a dispute with another passenger. The altercation occurred just before takeoff at London Heathrow, leading to the plane being turned around and the passengers being put up in a hotel.

According to police, a woman in her 50s, later identified as Fox, was arrested on suspicion of being drunk on board an aircraft. She was subsequently released on bail until March. Fox has since stated that she is cooperating with the investigation and expressed her apologies for any trouble caused.

This incident comes as another blow to Fox, who experienced a personal tragedy last year with the sudden death of her sister Vanessa. The sisters shared a close bond, and Fox has spoken about how Vanessa saved her from their alcoholic father’s attacks when they were younger. Additionally, Fox lost her long-term partner Myra Stratton to cancer eight years ago.

Despite the difficulties, Fox remains a beloved figure in the entertainment industry. She gained fame in the 80s and first appeared in The Sun 40 years ago. Fox has also showcased her cooking skills in Celebrity MasterChef, with her sister helping her prepare for the show. Unfortunately, Vanessa passed away shortly after the filming.

It is yet to be seen what consequences Fox may face as a result of her behavior on the plane. However, she continues to receive support from her fans and remains determined to move forward with her career.
