OCALA, Fla. – Three individuals accused of participating in the January 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol have been apprehended by the FBI at a ranch in Florida, the agency announced on Saturday.
The fugitives were identified as Jonathan Daniel Pollock, his sister Olivia Michele Pollock, and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III by the FBI’s Tampa office. They are scheduled to appear in federal court in Ocala, Florida, on January 8.
The agency provided no further details about their capture.
Jonathan Pollock, who was accused of attacking police and using a riot shield as a weapon during the riots, was the subject of a FBI reward offering up to $30,000 for information leading to his arrest. Olivia Pollock had been missing since at least March, disappearing shortly before her trial was set to begin, according to the Associated Press. Hutchinson, who failed to show up at his trial last year, worked with the Pollocks at their family’s gun shop in Lakeland, Florida, according to prosecutors.
The three individuals were charged in July 2021 alongside two others, Joshua Christopher Doolin and Michael Steven Perkins. Doolin was sentenced to 18 months in prison and Perkins was given 4 years, with both sentences related to their actions during the Capitol breach.
These arrests come on the third anniversary of the insurrection. According to the Justice Department, over 1,000 defendants have either pleaded guilty or been convicted of crimes related to the January 6 attack on the Capitol. President Biden gave a strong criticism of the riots on Friday, accusing former President Trump and his GOP allies of embracing extremism.
In response, Trump called Biden’s speech a “pathetic fearmongering campaign event” and stated that if he were reelected, he would consider pardoning individuals charged in connection with the January 6 events.
