WASHINGTON, DC – Three individuals wanted in connection with the US Capitol attack on January 6, 2021, have been arrested by the FBI in Florida. The suspects, identified as Jonathan Daniel Pollock, Olivia Michele Pollock, and Joseph Daniel Hutchinson III, were apprehended early Saturday morning and are scheduled to appear in federal court in Ocala, Florida, on Monday. The arrests took place on the third anniversary of the attack on the Capitol, as the legal system continues to grapple with how to handle the hundreds of individuals involved in storming the Capitol.
According to court documents, Jonathan Pollock does not have an attorney listed. Olivia Pollock and Hutchinson are represented by attorneys, whom CNN has reached out to for comment. Prosecutors have primarily focused their efforts on individuals who entered the building or engaged in violent or corrupt conduct on Capitol grounds. Olivia Pollock was originally set to go to trial in March on federal charges related to the Capitol riot, but she failed to appear in court. Jonathan Pollock has been on the run since being first charged in July 2021. The FBI had offered a reward for information on his whereabouts.
The FBI’s “Most Wanted” site still features thousands of images of individuals wanted for the attack, and more than 80 people are still sought for acts of violence at the Capitol. Jonathan Pollock has been accused of multiple offenses, including assaulting officers, dragging an officer down stairs, and ramming a police shield into an officer’s neck. All three suspects, including Hutchinson, are facing charges for their alleged involvement in a coordinated assault on several police officers. Hutchinson and Olivia Pollock have pleaded not guilty, while Jonathan Pollock has yet to enter a formal plea.
The Department of Justice has reported that over 1,200 Americans have been criminally charged for their alleged actions during the riot, with more than 890 individuals already found guilty of federal crimes. The majority of those convicted have received prison sentences.
