Twenty-one reality TV and pro sports stars are gearing up for the second season of The Traitors, a diabolical competition that is set to include some blasts from the past. Former Big Brother houseguests Janelle Pierzina and Dan Gheesling will be reuniting on the show, despite their previous dramatic interactions. Pierzina expressed her excitement to work with Gheesling again and stated that she never blamed him for her eviction. Gheesling also spoke highly of Pierzina, stating that he greatly appreciated her ability to separate the game from personal life.
However, not all participants will be able to separate game from personal life. The Traitors will also feature Challenge veterans CT Tamburello, Johnny Bananas, and Trishelle Cannatella, as well as Survivor queens Sandra Diaz-Twine and Parvati Shallow. Additionally, four cast members from the Real Housewives franchise will be taking part in the competition. The game will revolve around sniffing out and unmasking the select few chosen to be the Traitors.
Pierzina and Gheesling did not disclose whether they will be on the same side of this battle, but they assured fans that there will be plenty of drama in store for this season. Pierzina, in particular, acknowledged her reputation for being involved in tiffs, while Mercedes “MJ” Javid from Bravo’s Shahs of Sunset hinted at jealousy and alliances among the contestants. Gheesling expressed his excitement in seeing Pierzina in action with a different cast and in a new environment.
Pierzina previously appeared on Season 22 of Big Brother and USA Network’s Snake in the Grass, while Gheesling’s return to reality TV comes after an 11-year hiatus. Gheesling stated that he was drawn to The Traitors because of the fresh game and the opportunity to compete against big-time competitors.
In conclusion, the second season of The Traitors promises to deliver drama, alliances, and intense competition as reality TV stars and pro sports players come together in a battle of lies and loyalty.
