Brad Pitt’s Dirty Secret: Former Roommate Jason Priestley Reveals Showering Game from Their Beverly Hills Days

LOS ANGELES – Jason Priestley, the actor best known for his role on “Beverly Hills, 90210,” revealed on a talk show Tuesday that he and his former roommate Brad Pitt used to play a game to see who could go the longest without showering. Priestley made the comments during an appearance on “Live! With Kelly and Mark.”

The two actors, who lived together in a two-bedroom apartment in a less-than-desirable part of Los Angeles, would challenge each other to hold out on showering as a sort of competition. Priestley admitted that looking back, he finds the game “disgusting” and wonders what they were thinking.

When asked by host Kelly Ripa who typically won the challenge, Priestley quickly replied, “Brad. Always Brad.” He added that Pitt could go a long time without showering and although he doesn’t think Pitt does that anymore, in their younger years, he was the clear winner.

According to Priestley, their friendship was formed during a time when they were both broke, surviving on ramen noodles, generic beer, and Marlboro Light cigarettes. However, their lives took different paths as their careers took off, causing them to lose touch with each other.

Priestley’s memoir, released in 2014, shed more light on their living situation and the challenges they faced as struggling actors. While Priestley found success on “90210,” Pitt found fame in the film “Thelma & Louise.” Throughout their rise to stardom, their friendship grew apart.

The actor reflects on the impact of their fame, explaining that it caused their once tight-knit group of friends to dissipate. He describes the situation as sad, acknowledging how their different career trajectories tore them apart.

While both actors went on to achieve great success in their respective careers, it seems their days of competing to see who could go the longest without showering are long gone.
