SEOUL, South Korea – Lee Jun Young has been cast as the desire-driven villain in Disney+’s upcoming series “The Impossible Heir.” The show revolves around three individuals who vie for power and control over Korea’s largest conglomerate. Lee Jae Wook will portray the cold-blooded Han Tae Oh, while Hong Su Zu will take on the role of Na Hye Won.
The character Lee Jun Young plays, Kang In Ha, is an illegitimate child of the country’s leading conglomerate, Kang Oh Group. In Ha forms an alliance with Han Tae Oh to fulfill his ambitious desires of ascending to the top. Initially concealed, In Ha’s ambitions gradually consume him as he strives to become the owner of Kang Oh Group.
Director Min Yeon Hong explains that the character-building process for Kang In Ha involved delineating his transformation and storyline. According to Hong, Lee Jun Young adeptly portrays In Ha’s enigmatic nature and journey between good and evil.
“The Impossible Heir” is set to premiere on February 28. In the meantime, a teaser for the show can be found online.
