Park, who plays Mindy Chen on the show, revealed that she experienced a critical septic shock that resulted in the infection and damage of several organs. She was subsequently transferred from the Maldives to Dubai for treatment.

She expressed her appreciation to the Park Hyatt Dubai, Sonal Varma, and Ash Parmar for providing accommodations near the hospital. Park also mentioned the Joali Being resort for their immediate response and assistance, including language translations.

Park took to Instagram again to share a carousel of images and videos documenting her hospitalization and recovery process. She revealed that what initially began as tonsillitis escalated into a critical septic shock, affecting multiple organs. Despite the severity of her condition, Park expressed her gratitude for her improved health, which defied initial expectations.

The 32-year-old actress expressed deep gratitude to the ICU nurses and doctors who tirelessly worked to help her. She also acknowledged her boyfriend’s unwavering support as he remained by her side throughout the ordeal. Park admitted that she was initially hesitant to share her story due to her ongoing recovery but felt the need to do so now that she is safely on the other side of the worst.
