Exciting Sneak Peek: Varun Tej’s Biopic Film ‘Matka’ Unveils Aggressive Kabaddi Teenager-Turned-Mafia Don in Opening Bracket Clip

HYDERABAD, India – Varun Tej, the popular Indian actor, is celebrating his birthday today. To mark this special occasion, the makers of his ongoing film “Matka” have released a new clip titled “Opening Bracket.” The clip offers viewers a glimpse into the life of the film’s protagonist, a teenager who starts off as an aggressive Kabaddi player and eventually becomes a mafia don running a gambling business.

The video not only introduces the character of the protagonist but also showcases P Ravi Shankar’s portrayal of a police officer and Naveen Chandra’s role as a gangster. With Varun Tej’s impressive acts of playing music on a gramophone, smoking a cigar, and making a mysterious promise over the phone, it is evident that the movie will have a mass appeal.

Although the cleverly edited clip doesn’t provide a complete look at Varun Tej’s character, it is clear that the actor has undergone a total transformation for the role. His dressing style and appearance reflect the fashion trends of the 1980s, and the movie’s director, Karuna Kumar, has done an exceptional job in presenting the character flawlessly.

“Matka” boasts high technical and production standards, evident from the promising footage showcased in the “Opening Bracket” clip. The movie is being produced by Dr Vijender Reddy Teegala of Vyra Entertainments, in association with Rajani Talluri of SRT Entertainments. Nora Fatehi and Meenakshi Chowdary have been cast as the heroines in the film.

The music department is handled by GV Prakash Kumar, while A Kishor Kumar takes charge of cinematography. Currently, “Matka” is being shot on an extensive set in Hyderabad and is expected to have a Pan India release.
