Exclusive: Maria Sten Returns as Frances Neagley in Season Three of ‘Reacher’ on Prime Video

LOS ANGELES, California – The popular Prime Video series “Reacher” will see the return of Maria Sten as Frances Neagley in its upcoming third season. Sten’s character is a former military colleague of the show’s protagonist, Jack Reacher, portrayed by Alan Ritchson. The announcement was made by Prime Video, which had already renewed the show for a third season before the premiere of its second season in December.

The third season of “Reacher” will be based on Lee Child’s novel “Persuader,” the seventh book in the Jack Reacher series. The storyline will follow Reacher as he goes undercover to rescue an informant from his past. It is worth noting that Neagley’s involvement in the third season deviates from the original text, as she does not appear in the book.

The second season of “Reacher” achieved significant streaming numbers for Prime Video. According to Nielsen, the season garnered nearly 1.7 billion minutes of viewing in December and continued its success with another billion-minute week. These outstanding numbers helped the show secure the top spot in Nielsen’s rankings for original series during those weeks.

“Reacher” is a collaboration between Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios. The show is produced by showrunner Nick Santora, along with executive producers Lee Child, Alan Ritchson, Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell from Skydance.

The return of Maria Sten’s character in the upcoming season of “Reacher” adds an exciting dynamic to the show. Fans can anticipate another thrilling and action-packed installment as the series continues to captivate audiences with its adaptation of the Jack Reacher novels.
