LOS ANGELES – Former “Teen Mom OG” star Farrah Abraham is facing multiple lawsuits after being arrested outside a Los Angeles nightclub in January 2022. According to reports, Abraham is being sued by a female security guard who alleges assault, while Abraham has countersued the nightclub and others. Both lawsuits are seeking compensation of over $25,000.
The security guard, identified as Megan, claims in her court documents that she was working at the nightclub when she was told about a fight on the rooftop. She went there to assist other security guards in escorting Abraham off the property due to her alleged “assaultive behavior with other customers”. Megan states that Abraham physically assaulted her, causing serious bodily injury, including an eye injury and injuries to her face. Megan is seeking compensation for medical expenses, lost wages, and emotional distress.
Abraham, on the other hand, claims that she was attacked by a random customer at the bar and was then forcibly taken outside by a security guard named George Velasquez. She alleges that Velasquez assaulted her, causing physical and emotional injuries. Abraham also accuses the nightclub of negligence in hiring, training, and supervising its security staff. She claims that the security guard had an invalid license at the time of the incident.
Both lawsuits are set to go to trial, with Abraham demanding a jury trial. She seeks compensation for her alleged physical harm, emotional distress, and other damages. The security guard’s lawsuit accuses Abraham of intentional bodily injury and assault, while Abraham’s countersuit accuses the nightclub and its employees of battery, negligence, and emotional distress.
It remains to be seen how the court will decide on these cases. As the legal battles unfold, Abraham and the security guard will have the opportunity to present evidence in support of their claims.
