However, the director and writer were advocating for her. The agent proposed changing Snook’s appearance to make her more marketable, suggesting teeth whitening, hair darkening, and weight loss.
On the same project, Snook faced humiliation when she ate a small piece of cake. A producer scolded her in front of the cast and crew, while a costume designer encouraged her to keep eating. These experiences left Snook feeling miserable inside.
