Radnor’s intent to marry Jacobs was initially announced at a concert in New York City while he was on tour for his debut album, “Eulogy Vol. 1.” The couple’s love story began in February 2022 during a sound meditation retreat, where they first crossed paths while under the influence of psychedelic mushrooms.
In a candid interview with The New York Times, Radnor discussed the chosen wedding date. He revealed that the only available date coincided with the three-year anniversary of the January 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Radnor mentioned their decision to redefine the significance of this date, stating, “We decided we would rebrand Jan. 6.”
Radnor’s portrayal of the character Ted Mosby captivated audiences from 2005 to 2014 in the beloved television show “How I Met Your Mother.” The actor’s wedding marks a new chapter in his personal life, as he embarks on this journey with his new spouse, Dr. Jordana Jacobs.
