Iconic Voice Actor Kevin Conroy Continues to Bring Batman to Life in Upcoming Projects

New York Comic Con in 2019 marked the last appearance of Kevin Conroy, the legendary voice actor known for his role as Batman in “Batman: The Animated Series” and other renditions of the character. Since his passing in 2022, fans have been wondering when they would hear Conroy’s iconic voice as the Caped Crusader for the last time. While it was expected that Rocksteady’s upcoming video game “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” would feature Conroy’s Batman, recent reports indicate that it may not be his final performance. IGN reports that Conroy’s voice will indeed be a part of the game, but there are other projects in which fans can expect to hear him.

Apart from the video game, Conroy has also lent his voice to the upcoming Prime Video animated series “Batman: Caped Crusader” by J.J. Abrams, Bruce Timm, and Matt Reeves. However, it remains unclear whether Conroy will be voicing Batman in this series or another character. Additionally, Conroy’s Batman will make an appearance in the animated film “Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths – Part Three,” which serves as the final installment in a trilogy that commenced in 2022 with “Part One.” In this film, Conroy will voice his original Batman/Bruce Wayne from “Batman: The Animated Series.”

Despite the loss of such a prominent figure in the comic book film and TV space, fans can find solace in the knowledge that Conroy’s involvement in a violent video game where he is not the main character does not signify his final performance. There are still more projects to look forward to.
