Los Angeles – Jacob Elordi is returning to his roots as he takes on the role of host for this week’s episode of Saturday Night Live. The first promo for Elordi’s SNL appearance was released, showcasing the actor’s nervousness as he prepares for his monologue. As he enters Studio 8H, Elordi stops to contemplate the stairs that lead to the main stage, remarking how effortless previous hosts have made it look. Cast members Marcello Hernandez and Punkie Johnson offer words of encouragement to Elordi. In the promo, Elordi attempts various techniques to descend the stairs, including sliding on his bottom and finally leaping off the edge for a more traditional descent.
The upcoming episode of SNL, featuring Elordi as host and Reneé Rapp as the musical guest, will air on Saturday at 11:30 p.m. ET/8:30 p.m PT on NBC and will also be live-streamed on Peacock.
