LOS ANGELES (AP) — DC Studios CEO, James Gunn, expressed his excitement about the fourth and final season of “Superman & Lois” entering production. The superhero drama, which airs on The CW, has received praise from Gunn, who is currently working on a big-screen version of Superman’s story. Gunn dropped a pair of praise hands on a post by actress Bitsie Tulloch, who shared the cover of the script for the season premiere, titled “The End and the Beginning.”
This acknowledgement from Gunn holds significance as he is writing and directing the upcoming film, “Superman: Legacy.” The show’s final season is highly anticipated, and Gunn’s support further adds to its excitement. Gunn recently took on the role of co-CEO of DC Studios alongside producing partner Peter Safran. Together, they are overseeing the creative direction of the superhero franchise across film, TV, and animation.
“Superman & Lois” is currently in production for its 10-episode fourth season, set to premiere in the spring. The third season ended with Superman facing off against Doomsday, who is now seemingly immortal. Both Tyler Hoechlin and Michael Cudlitz are returning as series regulars in Season 4, along with Tulloch, Alex Garfin, and Michael Bishop.
Fans of the show are eager to see how the final season will conclude and what challenges Superman will face. The support and enthusiasm from Gunn only heighten the anticipation for the upcoming season.
