LOS ANGELES – Kanye West has once again made headlines with his extravagant property endeavors. This time, the renowned rapper and entrepreneur has taken it to the next level by removing the roof and gutting the interior of his $6.7 million Yeezy headquarters in West Hollywood.
Exclusive photographs and aerial footage obtained by The U.S. Sun showcase the 7,400-square-foot space, now resembling a construction site with metal poles, work benches, forklifts, and piles of materials. The building, already painted gray, has been transformed into a bustling workshop for Yeezy employees.
Sources working at the site revealed that steps have been taken to keep homeless individuals from camping nearby, including the placement of a wooden board over the main door. Staff can be seen going about their business, coming and going in various vehicles.
Last year, Kanye purchased the expansive space through his Oxpaha LLC company. Documents revealed that the address for the LLC matches the headquarters of CSC, a leading business firm located in Wilmington. Notable clients of CSC include Apple, Amazon, and Starbucks.
Insiders have shared that the Yeezy headquarters serves a multitude of purposes beyond a mere retail store. The windows of the property have been neatly covered, giving the appearance of a private venue. Kanye’s clothing line, Yeezy, is rumored to be relaunched with the guidance of American Apparel founder Dov Charney, who has been collaborating with the star.
Kanye’s career has faced significant setbacks following his anti-Semitic remarks, resulting in various brand endorsements and business partnerships being terminated. Nonetheless, the artist remains determined to stage a fashion comeback, evidenced by the goods he now sells on his website. Additionally, he has been working on his upcoming album, Vultures, with Ty Dollar $ign, though the release date has been delayed multiple times.
Despite these challenges, Kanye and his wife, Bianca Censori, have maintained an opulent lifestyle, frequently staying at the prestigious Chateau Marmont Hotel on the Sunset Strip, even though they have an apartment just minutes away.
Currently, Kanye has traveled to Orlando, Florida, in preparation for Travis Scott’s upcoming performance on February 1st. The artist continues to face legal battles and unpaid tax bills, but it seems that his financial resources remain substantial.
Kanye’s latest property project has once again captured attention and left many speculating about his grand plans for the renovated Yeezy headquarters in West Hollywood.
