Los Angeles, CA – Lisa Bonet has officially filed for divorce from actor Jason Momoa, two years after their separation. According to court documents obtained by Fox News Digital, Bonet cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for the filing. The couple has already agreed on the division of their assets and neither party will receive financial support.
Bonet and Momoa will share joint custody of their two children, Lola, 16, and Nakoa-Wolf, 15. The divorce is expected to be finalized by a Los Angeles judge in six months.
Bonet and Momoa first met in 2005 but got married in 2017. However, they publicly announced their separation in January 2022, revealing that their separation actually occurred in October 2020.
This was Momoa’s first marriage, while Bonet was previously married to musician Lenny Kravitz. The former couple shares a daughter, Zoë Kravitz, who is now engaged to actor Channing Tatum.
In a joint statement on Instagram, Bonet and Momoa explained that they decided to make their separation public in order to move forward with dignity and honesty. They expressed their continued love for each other and their unwavering dedication to their children.
