Love Song for Illusion Teases Intense Moment as Park Ji Hoon Prepares Flowers for Hong Ye Ji

Seoul, South Korea – KBS2’s historical fantasy romance drama, “Love Song for Illusion,” has released new stills ahead of its upcoming episode. Adapted from a popular webtoon, the series follows the love story and obsession of Crown Prince Sajo Hyun (played by Park Ji Hoon), who has an alter ego called Ak Hee, and Yeon Wol (played by Hong Ye Ji), a fallen royal descendant turned assassin and eventual concubine to the crown prince.

In the previous episode, Yeon Wol discovered that Prince Sajo Hyun’s alternating personalities were not just strange quirks but tied to her own mission for revenge against the royal family. The tension between them grows as Yeon Wol plots to harm King Sajo Seung and his son, Sajo Hyun.

The newly released stills show Prince Sajo Hyun and Yeon Wol meeting beneath a crape myrtle tree. Surprisingly, Yeon Wol appears to set aside her desire for revenge momentarily and exudes elegance and grace, resembling her royal lineage.

Additionally, the stills feature Park Ji Hoon’s character shyly presenting a bouquet of flowers, leaving viewers curious about his true identity. While Sajo Hyun had previously put Yeon Wol in a difficult position, he ultimately comes to her rescue. On the other hand, Ak Hee’s rough exterior hides his pure love for Yeon Wol, leaving audiences eager to discover who will ultimately have a sweet moment with her.

The production team has promised that the upcoming fourth episode will unravel the twisted relationship dynamics and delve deeper into the desperate love story between the three main characters. Viewers can anticipate shocking developments in the plot.

The next episode of “Love Song for Illusion” will air on January 15 at 10:10 p.m. KST. For those who wish to catch up on the show, it is available for streaming on Viki.
