LOS ANGELES – Chrissy Teigen, model and author of “Cravings: Hungry for More,” revealed on Thursday during an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” that her five-year-old son, Miles, has yet to develop a taste for vegetables. Teigen, who shares Miles with husband John Legend, discussed her son’s eating habits with her co-star from the show “Chrissy & Dave Dine Out,” David Chang.
When asked if her kids were good eaters, Teigen responded by pointing out her daughter Luna and John in the audience, garnering cheers from the crowd. She praised Luna for being an amazing eater who enjoys salads and vegetables. However, when it comes to Miles, Teigen revealed that he has never eaten a vegetable. According to Teigen, Miles accidentally consumed a broccoli floret in fried rice and was very upset about it.
Teigen further explained that being a picky eater is one of the few things children have control over at that age, so Miles takes advantage of it. The humorous conversation with host Jimmy Kimmel highlighted the challenges of raising young children and their peculiar habits.
Teigen and Chang stopped by “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” to promote their new show, “Chrissy & Dave Dine Out,” which is set to premiere on January 24. The reality show will feature the duo exploring the best culinary experiences and eateries in Los Angeles, accompanied by A-list guest stars.
In the first episode, Teigen, Chang, and Kimmel, along with Kimmel’s wife Molly McNearney, enjoy a slice of pizza at chef Chris Bianco’s Pizzeria Bianco. The star-studded lineup of celebrities set to appear in the show’s first season includes Alexandra Daddario, Simu Liu, Kumail Nanjiani, Sasheer Zamata, Eric Nam, Randall Park, Reid Scott, and Regina Hall.
Teigen’s candid revelation about her son’s eating habits has sparked conversations about picky eaters and the challenges of introducing vegetables to young children. As the model and author continues to be open about her personal experiences, fans eagerly anticipate the premiere of “Chrissy & Dave Dine Out” to witness Teigen and Chang’s culinary adventures with celebrity guests.
