(AP) — Country star Miranda Lambert shared a glimpse into her marriage this week, revealing that her husband, Brendan McLoughlin, is her “truth teller” and provides her with honest feedback. While Lambert’s mom offers more enthusiastic support, McLoughlin, a retired police officer, is the one who keeps it real for the singer.
During an interview on the Tamron Hall show, Lambert, 40, explained, “My mom’s more like a hype girl, my husband tells me the truth…He gives me harsh reality, and I love it.”
Lambert and McLoughlin, who secretly tied the knot in 2019, have been married for five years. She emphasized that both her mom and McLoughlin are incredibly proud of her and have been there every step of the way.
