LOS ANGELES – The highly anticipated new season of the hit series “NCIS” is just around the corner, and fans can hardly contain their excitement. As viewers eagerly await the premiere, they can also look forward to what lies ahead for the show’s intriguing spin-offs.
“NCIS” follows the lives of special agents working for the Navel Criminal Investigative Service. The show, which originated as a spin-off of the popular CBS series “JAG,” has garnered a huge fan base and has given rise to a number of successful spin-offs.
The upcoming 21st season of “NCIS” is set to debut on Thursday, February 12th at 9:00 p.m. ET on CBS. The episode will feature a gripping storyline as the team races against time to rescue JD’s son, who has been kidnapped by an international assassin demanding the release of a wanted criminal.
In even more exciting news for “NCIS” enthusiasts, a prequel series is in the works for the 2024-2025 season. Set in the 1990s, the new addition to the franchise, “NCIS: Origins,” will focus on a younger version of Leroy Jethro Gibbs, portrayed by Mark Harmon. Harmon will lend his voice as the narrator for the captivating new program.
