Los Angeles, California – NBC’s drama series “Quantum Leap” has set a return date for its second season. The remaining five episodes of the 13-episode season will air on Tuesday, January 30 at 10 pm, moving from its previous Wednesday slot. The season will conclude with a two-hour finale on February 20 from 9-11 pm. Viewers can also stream all episodes on Peacock the day after they air.
“Quantum Leap” has been performing well, ranking as a top 5 drama this season in the 18-49 demographic. The show has been drawing in 4.9 million viewers across all platforms.
This follow-up series to the original “Quantum Leap,” which aired on NBC from 1989-1993, is set in present day. It has been 30 years since Dr. Sam Beckett disappeared after stepping into the Quantum Leap accelerator. Now, a new team has been assembled to restart the project and unravel the mysteries behind the machine and its creator.
The series features a talented cast, including Raymond Lee, Ernie Hudson, Caitlin Bassett, Mason Alexander Park, and Nanrisa Lee. Executive producers Martin Gero and Dean Georgaris are joined by Deborah Pratt, Chris Grismer, Alex Berger, Steven Lilien, and Bryan Wynbrandt.
