Los Angeles – Reality TV star Raquel Leviss has criticized her ex-boyfriend, Tom Sandoval, for continuing to play the “victim” in interviews following the exposé of their affair. Leviss made her comments on her podcast, “Rachel Goes Rogue,” stating that Sandoval’s attempts to portray himself as a victim are making him look worse, not better. She accused him of going on the offensive after she revealed her side of the story on her own podcast.
Leviss’ comments were prompted by an interview clip from Sandoval’s appearance on “Two Ts in a Pod,” where he claimed to be still in love with her and expressed his sadness over the end of their relationship. Leviss admitted that listening to the interview made her physically sick and described Sandoval’s voice as repulsive. Although she found his admissions validating, she felt that he was also engaging in victim-blaming.
The former “Vanderpump Rules” star believes that Sandoval turned against her, throwing her under the bus and failing to take accountability for their actions. Leviss expressed her disappointment, stating that if Sandoval truly loved her, he wouldn’t make such statements.
Leviss decided not to return to “Vanderpump Rules” after facing backlash from fans over the affair. She launched her own podcast to share her side of the story and has since reflected on the difficult year she had in 2023. Leviss checked into a mental health facility shortly after filming the Season 10 reunion and has been working on healing and moving forward.
The new season of “Vanderpump Rules” is set to premiere on January 30th without Leviss. The reality TV star hopes to be a better friend in 2024 after the turmoil caused by her affair with Sandoval.
