Reacher Season 3 Takes on Lee Child’s ‘Persuader’ as Plot Intensifies

Toronto, Canada – Prime Video has announced that the highly-anticipated Season 3 of “Reacher” will be based on Lee Child’s book “Persuader,” the seventh installment in the Jack Reacher series. The streaming platform also confirmed that Maria Sten will be returning as Frances Neagley, alongside Alan Ritchson.

In this upcoming season, Ritchson’s character, Reacher, will be forced to go undercover in order to rescue an informant who is being held captive by a formidable enemy from his past. The third season of “Reacher” is currently being filmed in Toronto and the renewal was announced just two weeks before the premiere of Season 2.

During its debut weekend, “Reacher” Season 2 became the top title on Prime Video globally, in both the series and movies categories. The show’s success can be attributed to its gripping storyline and engaging performances.

“Reacher” is based on Lee Child’s popular novels and has been adapted for television by Nick Santora. The series is a collaborative production between Amazon MGM Studios, Skydance Television, and Paramount Television Studios. Child and Santora serve as executive producers, with Ritchson also taking on an executive producer role for Season 3. Other executive producers include Don Granger, Scott Sullivan, Mick Betancourt, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, and Matt Thunell from Skydance.
