SEOUL, South Korea – Samsung is expanding its successful The Frame TV lineup with a new addition for 2024: the Music Frame. While The Frame TV is known for seamlessly blending into home decor with its customizable bezels and display of renowned artwork, the Music Frame takes a different approach. Instead of a television, it functions as a music speaker, resembling Samsung’s version of the popular Sonos / Ikea Symfonisk frame speaker.
The Music Frame features a physical print on the front, which can be customized when orders are placed. It can also be used for surround sound audio when paired with Samsung’s 2024 TVs and soundbars. Additionally, it’s designed to operate as a standalone wireless speaker.
Samsung’s press release describes the Music Frame as a modern picture frame that disguises itself as a speaker, seamlessly blending into its surroundings. Equipped with built-in woofers and intelligent audio processing, it promises a premium audio experience. The use of Q-Symphony technology allows for surround sound capabilities when connected to compatible Samsung devices.
As of now, Samsung has not revealed the pricing details for the Music Frame. However, it is expected to be available in the coming spring, alongside the company’s new TV and home theater lineup.
In recent years, Samsung’s The Frame TV has gained popularity for its aesthetic appeal and ability to transform a television into a design piece. With the addition of the Music Frame, Samsung aims to provide consumers with another option for incorporating technology seamlessly into their homes.
