London, UK – In the latest episode of “The Masked Singer UK,” the character Rat was revealed to be none other than Strictly Come Dancing head judge Shirley Ballas. The popular singing competition continued to captivate audiences as Rat faced off against Dippy Egg in a sing-off, with the panel of judges including Mo Gilligan, Jonathan Ross, Olly Murs, and Davina McCall presiding over the performance. Rat surprised everyone with her rendition of “Nellie the Elephant” by Toy Dolls.
Throughout the episode, the judges speculated on Rat’s identity, with guesses ranging from Coronation Street actress Claire Sweeney to Killing Eve’s Jodie Comer and Doctor Who’s Jodie Whittaker. However, none of the suggestions came close to revealing Rat’s true identity. It was Shirley Ballas herself who eventually unveiled her secret persona.
Ballas expressed her flattery at the guesses made by the panel, praising their creativity. She also shared an interesting clue about herself – tattoos. When asked about it, Ballas revealed that she has tattoos all over her backside, including her boyfriend’s name. She even joked that fellow judge Bruno Tonioli used to ask her to show them to him.
Reflecting on her experience on “The Masked Singer,” Ballas described it as one of the best times of her life, despite being initially out of her comfort zone. She particularly enjoyed being able to perform and move her body in the Rat costume.
Looking ahead to the next episode, viewers can expect more mystery singers to perform at a School Disco. Air Fryer, Bubble Tea, Owl, Eiffel Tower, and Piranha will all be vying to impress the judges. Joining the panel as a guest panellist will be actress and comedian Jennifer Saunders.
