PORT CHARLES, NEW YORK – General Hospital’s Cyrus may not be as reformed as he claims to be, leaving viewers skeptical of his newfound religion. However, whether his conversion is genuine or a mere facade, Cyrus may soon find himself in a precarious situation. In the latest episode, Dex, under orders from his boss Sonny, was preparing to eliminate Cyrus.
Given Dex’s association with the town’s notorious “coffee importer,” it was only a matter of time before this fateful day arrived. Yet, when Sonny made it explicitly clear that he wanted Cyrus dead and Dex to be the instrument of his demise, the young man couldn’t hide his anxiety.
Dex attempted to reason with Sonny, even going so far as to suggest that turning an assault charge into a murder charge would only exacerbate the situation. He even played the card of Joss, implying that Cyrus would eventually target all those closest to Sonny, including the young woman.
Fearing the worst, Dex rushed to the hospital and called Joss, desperately seeking her support. Unfortunately, only her voicemail greeted him. In a heartfelt message, Dex revealed his readiness to do whatever it takes, even if it meant killing Cyrus. Unexpectedly, Nina arrived at the hospital shortly after, also seeking a meeting with Cyrus.
Informed by her friend Ava of Sonny’s precarious situation due to the incident at the chapel, Nina believed she could be of assistance. However, there’s no telling that her idea of “helping” might entail striking a deal with Cyrus. The question remains – what will she offer in exchange for dropping the charges against Sonny?
Nonetheless, Nina’s actions may prove ill-advised, as Dex’s plan to make it appear as though “something” happened to Cyrus could result in Sonny’s wife taking the blame. Moreover, with Josslyn’s college friend Adam displaying increasingly unstable behavior, it’s highly probable that she faces more danger from him than from Cyrus.
As tensions rise and trouble looms for Joss, Dex, Sonny, and Nina, fans of General Hospital anxiously await the next developments for their beloved couples.
