Based on a web novel of the same name, “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” follows the story of Kim Dok Ja (Ahn Hyo Seop), whose reality merges with the web novel world he once read. Lee Min Ho portrays Yoo Joong Hyuk, the main character of the web novel, who repeatedly relives his life after death in a post-apocalyptic setting. The web novel and its ongoing webtoon adaptation have garnered a dedicated fan base.

Director Kim Byung Woo, known for “The Terror Live” and “Take Point,” will helm the film. It is produced by REALIES Pictures, the company behind the successful “Along with the Gods” series, with investment from Smilegate, a global entertainment group making its first foray into the Korean film industry.

Lee Min Ho’s character, Yoo Joong Hyuk, possesses striking looks and formidable fighting abilities, having survived the harsh conditions of the ruined world. Ahn Hyo Seop plays Kim Dok Ja, the only person who knows the conclusion of the web novel “Three Ways to Survive in a Ruined World.” As an ordinary office worker, Kim Dok Ja becomes engrossed in Yoo Joong Hyuk’s tale, ultimately becoming the sole individual to finish reading the web novel.

Shin Seung Ho and Nana take on the roles of characters from the web novel that Kim Dok Ja encounters in real life. Shin Seung Ho portrays Lee Hyun Sung, a former military soldier with formidable defensive skills, while Nana embodies Jung Hee Won, a symbol of justice with exceptional strength.

Park Ho San appears as Gong Pil Doo, a wealthy figure who wields control over people’s lives, while Choi Young Joon portrays Han Myung Oh, Kim Dok Ja’s superior at the office who becomes embroiled in mission scenarios alongside Yoo Sang Ah. Jisoo plays Lee Ji Hye, a resilient character who overcomes multiple crises alongside Yoo Joong Hyuk.

The film adaptation of “Omniscient Reader’s Viewpoint” is highly anticipated, and fans eagerly await further updates on the production.
