Undead Slasher ‘In a Violent Nature’ Introduces Terrifying Monster, Johnny, in New Teaser Poster

Park City, Utah – A teaser poster released ahead of its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival introduces “Johnny,” the undead killer at the center of the upcoming slasher film “In a Violent Nature.” The poster features the tagline “Nature is Unforgiving,” giving viewers a glimpse into the twisted perspective of the slasher.

This highly anticipated slasher, produced by Shudder, takes a unique twist on the genre by presenting the events through the eyes of Johnny, an enigmatic undead monster. The film follows Johnny’s resurrection and his quest for vengeance in a remote wilderness. Tasked with retrieving a stolen locket, Johnny embarks on a rampage, methodically slaughtering a group of vacationing teens and anyone in his path.

Written and directed by Chris Nash, “In a Violent Nature” features a talented cast including Ry Barrett, Andrea Pavlovic, Cameron Love, Reece Presley, Liam Leone, Charlotte Creaghan, Lea Rose Sebastianis, Sam Roulston, Alexander Oliver, and Lauren Taylor. The film is produced by Shudder as a Shudder Original and is also co-produced by Peter Kuplowsky and Shannon Hanmer.

“In a Violent Nature” is set to make its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival on January 22. The film was recently acquired by Shudder, AMC Networks’ popular streaming service for horror.
