Los Angeles – Universal Pictures Home Entertainment has announced the forthcoming release of “Trolls Band Together” on 4K Blu-ray and Blu-ray. Directed by Walt Dohrn and featuring a star-studded voice cast including Anna Kendrick, Justin Timberlake, Camila Cabello, Kid Cudi, and Troye Sivan, the film is set to hit the market on January 16.
In this latest installment of DreamWorks Animation’s musical franchise, viewers will witness an epic family reunion unlike any other. As Poppy (Anna Kendrick) and her boyfriend Branch (Justin Timberlake) grow closer, Poppy uncovers his secret past as a member of her favorite boyband, BroZone, along with his four estranged brothers. When one of the brothers is kidnapped for his musical talents, Branch and Poppy embark on an action-filled journey to reunite the siblings and rescue their brother.
Throughout their adventure, Poppy also stumbles upon a long-lost sister named Viva (Camila Cabello), leading to the revelation of a family secret. “Trolls Band Together” promises to deliver the franchise’s signature psychedelic joy-bomb of new and classic pop hits that will have audiences singing and dancing along.
The Blu-ray release of “Trolls Band Together” will feature over an hour of bonus content, including a sing-along version, an original short film titled “It Takes Three,” character drawing tutorials, deleted scenes, and behind-the-scenes features with the cast and crew. Notably, the bonus content will also include a reunion of *NSYNC, marking their first appearance together in 20 years.
Directed by Walt Dohrn, co-directed by Tim Heitz, and produced by Gina Shay, the film boasts returning voice talents such as Anna Kendrick and Justin Timberlake, as well as Zooey Deschanel, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Icona Pop duo Aino Jawo and Caroline Hjelt, Kenan Thompson, Anderson .Paak, Kunal Nayyar, and Ron Funches.
